The third and final chapter of the current Hitman story is released in the form of Hitman 3. The third game is built differently from the first two it is still similar in so many ways. You will visit amazing new locations and explore the best possible ways to kill your target. However, sometimes the best way requires you to enter areas where firearms or any other form of illegal items aren’t allowed. If you are caught in possession of an illegal item in such areas it won’t end well for Agent 47. In this quick guide, I will explain how to hide illegal items in Hitman 3 before or after entering restricted areas in disguise.
Hitman 3: How to Hide Illegal Items
If you have played previous games you know what happens before entering restricted areas. Often, you will be frisked before you are allowed access to such areas. If you are carrying an illegal item (marked with a red exclamation mark) you won’t be allowed in. The best way forward is to hide your illegal items somewhere you can retrieve them later.
You can press the down on the d-pad to drop items you don’t want to return for which means you don’t need a hiding place for it, simply drop an illegal item when you are out of sight. If you are seen by guards as you’re dropping an illegal item they will attack you. To hide illegal items in Hitman 3 look for trash cans, press and hold Y on Xbox or Triangle on PlayStation, and Agent 47 will drop the item in the trash can.
You can then go back to the trash can and retrieve your hidden illegal item in Hitman 3. It is to be noted that you shouldn’t allow yourself to be seen by guards or NPCs as you hide items.
Eventually, you can also unlock a briefcase in Hitman 3 after killing certain NPCs in some levels and completing challenges. The briefcase is the perfect way to hide your illegal items in Hitman 3.
As you complete more levels and raise your mastery on each of them, you are given the ability to send in illegal items prior to your arrival on location. Items will be hidden inside secret stashes at various locations on the map and you can go and retrieve them. It is part of your pre-level planning in Hitman 3.
