Season of the Chosen allows players to gild different titles like Flawless, Unbroken, Dredgen, and Conqueror. Out of these, only the Conqueror is a true PvE title that can be gilded. But doing that is probably one of the hardest PvE challenges. In this guide, we’ve shared all the steps that are needed to gild the Conqueror in Destiny 2 and some tips to make it easier.
How to Gild Conqueror in Destiny 2
When it comes to PvE, gilding the Conqueror title is one of the most challenging things. It not only requires some serious skill but also a lot of patience. Before we start, do note that the Conqueror title needs to be unlocked before it can be gilded.
There are a handful of requirements needed to gild the Conqueror title – some easier than the others. These are:
- Lightbearer: Earn 150,000 score in a Nightfall.
- Breaker of Champions: Defeat 100 Champions in Nightfalls.
- Conqueror’s Disciple: Grandmaster Nightfalls completed with every element. Void, Arc, Solar, and Stasis.
- Total Conquest: Complete six different Grandmaster Nightfalls.
The first two are simple and will auto-complete as we work toward the latter two. Also, do note that all six Grandmaster NFs become available at the end of the season, allowing players to catch up in case they missed anything. Needless to say, but do note that these NFs require at least 1325 PL to enter and don’t have matchmaking.
Similar to previous seasons, Season of the Chosen has 6 Grandmaster NFs. In order from easiest to difficult, these are:
- The Arms Dealer
- The Devil’s Lair
- The Insight Terminus
- Fallen S.A.B.E.R
- Warden of Nothing
- Proving Grounds
Note: Some of these guides for the Grandmaster NFs are from previous seasons when the Anti-Champion Mods were on different weapon archetypes. Just keep that in mind and the rest should still be viable.
We highly recommend completing the Conqueror’s Disciple triumph in a relatively easier Grandmaster i.e., The Arms Dealer, The Devil’s Lair, etc. Sadly, players who will go through the challenge will only be able to show off the title for a brief amount of time.
Grandmaster NFs Tips
Almost all the Grandmaster NFs play identically. Since we’re -25 PL under, it’s highly recommended to use long-ranged weapons i.e., Pulse Rifles, Scout Rifles, Bows, Sniper Rifles, etc. When it comes to Exotic Weapons, things like Anarchy, Izanagi’s Burden, Le Monarque, Divinity, etc. are all incredibly good.
For armor, it’s best to have maximum Recovery, at least 5-6 Resilience, and mods like Protective Light. Exotic Armor such as Ursa Furiosa, Phoenix Protocol, Omnioculus, etc. are really good. Remember that it’s all about range, playing as a team, and not pushing when there isn’t any need to.
