How to Get Vow Bow During Destiny 2 Crimson Days

Starting Feb. 11, all Destiny 2 players will be able to participate in a Valentine-themed event called the Crimson Days. Celebrating love and friendship, the Crimson Days event brings a whole lot of activities to participate in and earn rewards. One of these rewards is an energy bow called Vow Bow, and in this Destiny 2 guide, we’ve detailed everything you need to know about unlocking it.

Unlock Destiny 2 Vow Bow

The first thing that you need to know is that the Vow Bow is only available during the Crimson Days so you only have a week to get your hands on it. The first thing that you need to do is to visit Lord Shaxx in the Tower.

During the course of the Crimson Days, you’ll be able to purchase the bow from Lord Shaxx for 100 Confectionary Hearts. But how to earn Confectionary Hearts?

In all honesty, earning them isn’t hard at all! You can pick up Crimson Days’ bounties and complete Crucible matches to easily start farming them. The number you get from Crucible is pretty generous so you won’t have to grind hours and hours of Crucible if that isn’t your thing.

Once you’ve racked up 100 Confectionary Hearts, return to Lord Shaxx and purchase your Masterworked Vow Bow. Being a Solar-energy bow, it takes the energy-slot so you’ll have to give up your Recluse slot if you’re one of those still using it.

As for perks that Vow Bow comes with, they include:

  • Lightweight Frame: Draw the weapon quickly and move faster with it.
  • Polymer String: Increased accuracy and decreased draw time.
  • Natural Fletching: Improved stability at the cost of accuracy.
  • Rapid Hit: Rapid precision hits increase reload speed and stability.
  • Archer’s Tempo: Precision hits reduce draw time.

This is how you can unlock fully Masterworked Vow Bow in Destiny 2 Crimson Days if you couldn’t last year. For more on the game, be sure to check out our Destiny 2 guides page.
