Trainer Card Stars are tied to the in-game achievements and objectives. They also have different colors but the red star is the only one you get by default.
- Black: To get the black color you need to have a 100-win streak at the Battle Tower. Easier said than done so you’ll need the best Pokemon in BDSP.
- Blue: The blue color becomes available after you beat the Champion Cynthia and enter the Hall of Fame.
- Bronze: The bronze color becomes available when you win a Super Contest Show on Master.
- Gold: Complete the National Pokedex to get the Gold color.
