How to Get Tigrex Royal in Monster Hunter Stories 2

Tigrex Royal is one of the harder Monsties to get in the game. These creatures are usually harmless unless they are agitated. But once agitated, these can be a little frustrating to deal with. That is where this guide comes in. In this guide, we have detailed all there is to know about how to get Tigrex Royal eggs in Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin.

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin Tigrex Royal Eggs

When it comes to getting eggs from a Tigrex Royal, there are a few methods of doing so. Similar to Anjanath, the first step is to find a Tigrex Royal. When found, these Monsties are usually asleep and get agitated whenever players get too close to them. Tigrex Royal can be found in a lot of different places. Some of these places are:

  1. Basarios Rocks, Inner Catavan Outpost, Harzgai Rocky Hill
  2. Near the Alcala Highlands
  3. Wendwood, Alcala Highlands
  4. 4th Area

As mentioned earlier, these Monsties tend to get agitated whenever players get a little too close to them. Do note that these Monsties do not go down without a fight. It is important to avoid a majority of its attacks to be able to get its eggs.

As with other Monsties in the game, it is paramount to have the Tigrex Royal retreat into its den. To do that consistently, players need to throw Paintballs at the Monstie as it increases the chances of retreating into its den. If that is not enough, breaking its head using something like a Greatsword is probably the best way to cause the Monstie to retreat into its den. Once done, follow it inside the den, grab the egg, and bring it to Stables in order to hatch it.

That is all we have got in how to get Tigrex Royal eggs in Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin. For more help on the game, feel free to check out our detailed Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin wiki page.
