How to Get the Fatebreakerer Seal in Destiny 2

The return of Vault of Glass means another seal to chase for the completionist Destiny 2 players. The seal associated with Vault of Glass is called ‘Fatebreaker’ and it’s a tough one to get, especially since it’s the first raid seal in Destiny 2 that requires the completion on ‘Master’ difficulty – we don’t know what the ‘Master’ difficulty will entail. In this guide, we’ve detailed all there’s to know about how to get the Fatebreaker seal in Destiny 2: Season of the Splicer.

Destiny 2 Fatebreaker Seal

Once again, there isn’t ‘Flawless’ completion required for the seal. It can be bad or good depending on how one looks at the game. But then again, there’s a Shader that a ‘Flawless’ completion can net players.

Before we begin, do note that challenges for VoG are scheduled to release starting Jun. 15th – these challenges rotate each week. As for the ‘Master’ difficulty, we don’t have any info. on when will it become available. We’ll continue to update the guide for more info. as it becomes available.

TriumphRequirementTips to Complete
Vault of GlassComplete all the triumphs.Just do it!
Vault of GlassComplete any version of the ‘Vault of Glass’ raid. This one simply requires a completion of Vault of Glass. Nothing more.
Temporal CachesLoot all hidden chests in the ‘Vault of Glass’ raid. There are a total of 4 hidden chests in the raid. One after the intial area, one before Templar, one in the Gorgons’ Labyrinth, and one before the Gatekeeper. Check this helpful video to learn more about their locations.
Pearl of GlassFind all of the collectibles hidden within the Vault of Glass. There are a total of 12 collectibles in the raid. These can be a little tough to find. Once collected, it rewards the the Destiny 2 version of the Chatterbox White shader from D1. Check this video guide for detailed locations.
Vault of ClansComplete all encounters in the ‘Vault of Glass’ raid with a full fireteam of clanmates. This one requires Guardians to be in a clan. Not too bad.
Charged GlassComplete all encounters in the ‘Vault of Glass’ raid with a full fireteam of Arc subclasses.Warlocks on Chaos Reach, Titans on Thundercrash, Hunter can clear adds.
Melted GlassComplete all encounters in the ‘Vault of Glass’ raid with a full fireteam of Solar subclasses.Warlocks on Well, Titans on Hammers, Hunters on bottom-tree Solar with Celestial Nighthawk or Star-eating Scales.
Empty GlassComplete all encounters in the ‘Vault of Glass’ raid with a full fireteam of Void subclasses.Warlocks on Nova Bomb, Titans on Ward of Dawn, and Hunters on Tether.
Vault of ClassComplete all encounters in the ‘Vault of Glass’ raid with a full fireteam of the same class. From our experience, running 6 Warlocks is probably the best strat.
Break No PlatesComplete the Waking Ruins encounter while not losing a single sync plate to the Vex.This is another simple one. Use Witherhoard to spawn-trap adds before they can reach a plate.
Wait for It …Complete the confluxes challenge mode.Challenges for VoG will roll out starting Jun. 15th.
Dragon’s DenComplete the confluxes encounter while defeating Wyverns with only Super damage. For this encounter, I recommend Chaos Reach Warlocks with Energy Converter mod and Geomag Stabilizers to chain Supers.
The Only Oracle for YouComplete the Oracles challenge mode.Challenges for VoG will roll out starting Jun. 15th.
Take CoverDon’t defeat any Hobgoblins during the Oracles encounter.Stay behind cover. Well if need be. No too hard.
Out of Its WayComplete the Templar challenge mode.Challenges for VoG will roll out starting Jun. 15th.
Tampered TeleportComplete the Templar encounter while never blocking the Templar’s teleport. This challenge forces a 2-phase or even a 3-phase Templar but it isn’t bard. Just let the boss teleport all he wants.
Two Fast, Two GorgonsComplete the Gorgons’ Labyrinth encounter while defeating 2 or more Gorgons within 3 seconds of each other. For this triumph, open up the secret room, equip Wardcliff Coils, find two Gorgons, and empty.
Strangers in TimeComplete the Gatekeeper challenge mode.Challenges for VoG will roll out starting Jun. 15th.
Rabid RelicComplete the Gatekeeper encounter while only using Relic Super damage to defeat Praetorians. For this triumph, Stasis subclasses (Warlocks being the preference) and Salvation’s Grip work wonders. Stasis can freeze the Praetorian, giving the Relic holder enough time to recarhge Supers.
Ensemble’s RefrainComplete the ‘Ensemble’s Refrain’ challenge in Atheon encounter.Challenges for VoG will roll out starting Jun. 15th.
Eyes on AtheonDefeat Atheon without destroying any Supplicants. There’s a glitch right now that lets Guardians kill Atheon before it spawns. It’s by far the easiest method to complete this triumph. Try to do it that way before it’s patched.
Master GlasserComplete ‘Vault of Glass’ on Master difficulty. As of right now, we don’t know when the Master difficulty will be released. We’ll update the guide once it becomes available.
Maestro GlasserComplete all encounter challenges in ‘Vault of Glass’ on Master difficulty. This requires the completion of all the challenges in the raid.
