The recently added Pokémon evolution “Kingambit” has been on everyone’s “Gotta Catch Em!” bucket list and has quickly become the center of attention of every Pokémon Scarlet & Violet player. Catching Kingambit is not as easy as you might think because, as we’ve said before, it has been recently released, so its habitat and whereabouts are currently unknown. Even your Pokédex has no idea of its whereabouts.
Suppose you’re wondering why everyone is so obsessed with this Pokémon. It’s because Kingambit is a Steel/Dark type Pokémon with powerful attacks, and its dark silhouette will surely fill your opponent’s heart with fear.
Where To Catch Kingambit In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Kingambit cannot be stumbled upon randomly by Pokemon players in the Wild. But to catch it, you’ll need to catch Bisharp first from the North Provinces (Area One). First, you’ll need to look out for a Bisharp who Pawniards surrounds and holds a “Leaders crest”; otherwise, there’s no use in battling it. If your schedule is filled with loads of extra time, you can even catch a Pawniards from the following locations:
- Poco Path Lighthouse
- South Province (Area Five)
- North Province (Area One)
- South Province (Area Three)
You can evolve it into a Bisharp once it’s at level 52, even though you’ll still have to capture a Bisharp holding a Leader’s crest.
How To Evolve Bisharp Into Kingambit

You’ll need to evolve your Bisharp into a Kingambit in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet to challenge your Bisharp while holding the crest to 3 different Bisharps followed by a pack of Pawniards.
You can find these types of Bisharps in the bamboo thicket of North Province (Area One). Once you’ve defeated one of the Bisharps, you’ll have to wait a few minutes for the Bisharps to spawn again. Repeat the process 3 times and evolve your Bisharp by feeding it a rare candy or during a battle.
