It is not easy to find these rocks as they are one of the rarest items in the game. The game offers Grit Rocks after you release Pokemon from pasture in Jubilife Village. There are four times of Grit items and on each Pokemon release, you either get Grit Rocks, Grit Dust, Grit Gravel, Grit Pebbles.
Releasing pastures is a great way to keep a healthy supply of Grit Items. You should visit Jubilife Village often to release them and farm Grit Rocks in the game.
There is an ability that allows you to mass release Pokemon at the pastures but you’ll unlock it by either getting enough Star Ranks or having four pastures full of Pokemon.
Now that you know how to get these rocks, let’s talk about how to use Grit Rocks.
To do this you’ll need to have at least one of your Pokemon’s ELs at level 9. You can then use the rocks to boost that Pokemon’s EL to 10. There is no level beyond 10 which means 10 is the highest EL level you can get.
