To summon Shenron in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, you need to find 7 Dragon Balls. After Shenron is summoned, you’ll be able to make a wish from it. If you do this 10 times in total, you’ll unlock “Shenron’s Favorite” trophy/achievement.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Dragon Balls
But how to collect all the Dragon Balls in DBZ: Kakarot? The first step is playing the story until the Frieza Saga, which is the 2nd Saga, is completed. After it’s completed, you’ll be treated with a tutorial for Dragon Balls and finding them.
You must’ve completed the Frieza Saga to be able to collect Dragon Balls.
After you’ve completed the 2nd Saga, you’ll see an orange Dragon Ball icon somewhere on the world map. The Dragon Ball icon means that there must be one or more Dragon Balls in the area. Remember that there can be more than a single Dragon Ball in an area.
You need to collect 7 Dragon Balls in total to be able to make a wish at Shenron. To make a wish at Shenron, open up the Dragon Ball menu and simply choose your wish. The following is a list of wishes you can make at Shenron:
- Earn in-game money.
- Collect a lot of rare items.
- Fight with a story boss once more.
- Collect Z Orbs of all colors to increase SP ATK.
After you’ve made your wish, all your previously collected Dragon Balls will get consumed and you’ll have to find another set to make another wish. There’s a cooldown of 20 minutes before Dragon Balls spawn on the map again.
Aside from this, the new Dragon Ball areas will spawn in different locations from the last ones. Check your world map once again and start collecting more Dragon Balls.
