Mounts in Biomutant are creatures that the character can ride to travel the vast open-world of the game. There are quite a lot of mounts that can be unlocked in the game. Players who’ve got more than one mount in their inventories can open the ‘Transport’ menu and select the one that they prefer from there. There are a couple of ways to get a mount in Biomutant. In this guide, we’ve detailed all there’s to know about how to get a mount in Biomutant.
How to Get a Mount in Biomutant
The cheapest method to get mounts in the game is via taming. Wild animals in Biomutant can easily be tamed. In order to tame an animal, complete the prologue and return to the Outpost. There should be a tamable wild animal nearby. However, to tame an animal, a special fruit named Pip is required.
Pip in Biomutant is a fairly common fruit that can be found almost everywhere in the open-world. Once the fruit is acquired, return to the animal and interact with it. This should instantly tame the creature, allowing players to use it for traveling. As simple as that!
Aside from this, another method of getting a mount in Biomutant is to simply buy it from a merchant. This method, however, requires currency and is a lot expensive as compared to taming. Players who’ve got more currency than they know what to do with can simply head over to an Outpost in the game and purchase one.
Lastly, there are Mechanical Mounts that can neither be purchased nor tamed. In order to get these mounts, simply progress through the game and they’ll become available sooner or later. As of right now, there isn’t any other method of getting them.
