Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Fishing

In DBZ: Kakarot, you can only fish at specific fishing spots. They aren’t hard to find either. To find a fishing spot, simply open up your world map and you’ll see them marked on different areas. Unlike other popular titles, you don’t really need different things for fishing in Kakarot – simply approach a fishing spot to start fishing.

Interacting with a fishing spot in the game will present 2 options: using bait to fish or fishing without using any baits. There isn’t any major differences between the two except the fact that fishing with baits increases your chances of catching a rare fish or some rare items.

How to Fish?

There are 3 types of fish that you can catch in DBZ: Kakarot. These are Scarlet Catfish, Goliath Catfish, and Great Energetic Fish. The former 2 can be caught but to find the Great Energetic Fish, you need to dive underwater, usually directly below a flock of seagulls.

Whether you decide to use baits or not, the fishing process is the same. Interact with a fishing spot, use the left analogue stick to catch the attention of a nearby fish, and initiate a QTE.

The said QTE has you press the button shown on the screen at the appropriate time followed by pressing the shown button once the inner and the outer circles intersect. If done correctly, you’ll catch your fish.

You’re probably wondering where to find baits in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot? You can get them as rewards from different substories, find them as loot from the open-world, and simply buy them from vendors. It’s as easy as it can get.
