Nintendo has supported Animal Crossing New Horizons with new content every now and then. It is one of the best games from Nintendo on Switch and its updates only add to it. With the latest Animal Crossing New Horizons update developers have added new activities for you to do. You can now dive and explore the sea. In the sea, there are pearls you find which means it is time for our “how to find pearls in Animal Crossing New Horizons” guide.
Animal Crossing New Horizons: How to Get Pearls
After you install the new update you can meet a new NPC named Pascal. The new character will appear out of nowhere every time you pick up a scallop underwater. Pascal gives you a DIY recipe or a pearl sometimes when you hand him a scallop. The recipe is for the mermaid furniture set. To actually make something out of each recipe he gives you a pearl is required as a crafting material.
Get Pearls From The Sea Shore
Diving into the water is the only way to get the Pearls in Animal Crossing New Horizons. You will also be able to catch different critters under the sea in case you were wondering.
After you dive into the water you will see bubbles on the surface of the water. Interact with these bubbles to get the pearl. To dive in the water, press A and swim to the bubble. Here are all the steps explained
- Go get a wetsuit from Nook’s Cranny, Nook Shopping, or Nook Miles Rewards and put it on
- Press A to go in the sea and use the same button to swim
- Press Y to dive near the bubbles
- Move over the shadow with A to swing
- You’ll automatically dive down to get the pearl
