Animal Crossing New Horizons: How to Get Pearls

After you install the new update you can meet a new NPC named Pascal. The new character will appear out of nowhere every time you pick up a scallop underwater. Pascal gives you a DIY recipe or a pearl sometimes when you hand him a scallop. The recipe is for the mermaid furniture set. To actually make something out of each recipe he gives you a pearl is required as a crafting material.
