The blue orb at the bottom of the screen represents the Kinship gauge. The Kinship skill is one of the key elements of the game’s combat system. In this guide, we will explain everything you need to know on how to fill the Kinship Guage in Monster Hunter Stories 2.
Monster Hunter Stories 2: How to Fill Kinship Guage
When the Kinship Gauge is full you will be able to ride your Monstie and use the skill. To fill the Kinship Guage you need to be in sync with your Montie.
Using the same moves as your Montie during a turn will show your sync levels. You both should be using the same move based on Power, Technical, or Speed. If you manage to perform a Double Attack that really boosts your Kinship Gauge.
The problem is that you don’t have any control over what moves your Montie uses. So you need to understand what moves your Montie usually dishes out and then copy the same type of attack.
Moreover, you need to make sure you are using the right Montie against your enemies. Some enemy Monties are weak against Electric Attacks while others are weak against Speed Attacks.
The best thing to do is gather multiple Monties and switch between them depending on the situation.
