How to Farm Oxygen in Icarus

Oxygen is one of the most useful resources in Icarus. Without Oxygen, it can sometimes become impossible to stay alive on a few planets. While it is fairly simple to do so, it can get a little confusing for some players. In this guide, we have detailed all there is to know about how to easily get Oxygen in Icarus.

Icarus Oxygen

Farming for Oxygen in Icarus is a fairly simple process. To begin, the player needs to explore the area in order to look for Oxite Deposits – these can be found right next to trees, etc. Once an Oxite Deposit has been found, the player simply needs to interact with it to get a single unit of Oxite Ore that in turn provides Oxygen.

However, do note that to transform Oxite Ore into Oxygen, it must be dragged to a ‘Quick Use’ slot. Also, since there are quite a decent amount of Oxite Deposits in the game, the player should never run out of it.

Another method of getting Oxygen in the game is by crafting an Oxidizer. This is done via the Tech Tree and requires the items mentioned below:

8x Stick + 12x Fiber + 20x Leather + 10x Bone

Once crafted, it can be placed in an area and will transform Oxite into Oxygen. As mentioned earlier, doing so requires a lot of Oxite Deposits, therefore, try to gather as much Oxite as possible and then transform it into Oxygen using one of the methods mentioned above.

This is all we have got in how to get Oxygen in Icarus. For more help on the game, feel free to check out our detailed Icarus wiki page.
