Crossing the ball in FIFA has always been an important part of the game. An effective cross would reward you with a goal score. Cross is a long pass into the opponent’s goal towards the header or sixth-yard teammate. This is how you can do a wonderful cross in FIFA 22.
FIFA 22: How to Do a Cross
There are various types of crosses in the FIFA 22, and you will have to be consistent and efficient with crosses as these could lead you to win the game. In a cross, you will essentially have to get the ball into the opponent’s box and get the ball as close to the opponent’s goal as you can.
These are the crosses that you can perform in FIFA 22.
The basic cross that you can perform by pressing the ‘X’ button on your Xbox console, or the ‘Square’ button on your PS console.
A powerful waist-level cross that can be performed by pressing ‘RB + X’ or ‘RB + B’ on an Xbox console. On a PS console, you can perform driven cross by pressing ‘R1 + Square’ or ‘R1 + Circle’.
A ground-level cross, where the ball doesn’t travel in the air for a long time. This can be performed by pressing the ‘X’ or the ‘B’ button twice on the Xbox console. On the PS console, this can be performed by pressing the ‘Square’ or the ‘Circle’ button twice.
The cross with the ball traveling in the air for a long time is the High Cross. This is how you can perform a High Cross, ‘LB + X or B’ on an Xbox console. While, on the PS console, you will need to press these buttons ‘L1 + Square or Circle’.
A variation of High Cross, but the ball doesn’t go as high in this cross as it would be in the High Cross. The Whipped Cross can be performed by pressing ‘LB + RB + X’ on the Xbox, and ‘L1 + R1 + Square’ on the PS.
Driven Ground Cross
A hybrid of the ground cross and the driven cross. This is a wonderful cross if performed correctly. The Driven Ground Cross AKA Low Driven Cross can be performed by pressing ‘RB + X or B (Twice)’ on an Xbox console. On the PS console, you can perform this cross by pressing ‘R1 + Square or Circle (Twice)’.
