How to Cure Poison in Spelunky 2

Spelunky 2 has introduced some new enemies and traps which have the ability to poison you. If you get poisoned, your adventure might come to a tragic end if you choose to neglect it. Once you’re infected, your character along with the heart icon in the top left corner will start to glow turn green and you’ll have limited time to find the cure as it doesn’t wear off and continuously drains your health (1 heart every 30 seconds). You can get poisoned from:

  • Enemies that blow up green bubbles like the Hermit Crab and Pangxie.
  • Poisonous Scorpions released from breaking the pots.
  • Poisonous arrows – arrowheads covered in a green poison.

How to Cure Poison

Curing the poison is a pretty straightforward yet stressful task since there’s limited time. All you have to do is carry your pet, that’s hidden on the level, to the exit. After hitting the exit, your chosen pet in the game will give you a healing lick and the poison will be cured. Along with the poison cure, the pet will also give you an extra HP/Heart.

To avoid stress and pressure, it’s best that you always try to find out your pet’s location first if you spot poisonous enemies on a level. That way you’ll know exactly where to go to cure your poison-induced woes.
