There are multiple difficulty options available to you in Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. You can choose between Rookie Explorer, Rookie Recruit, Rebel Agent, Resistance Leader, Renegade Legend.
Each difficulty presents carrying degrees of challenges. Depending on your situation, you can switch to different difficulties. To change difficulty in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart press the Options button to open the menu and scroll down to settings. Go to the Game tab where you will find the option to change the difficulty.
You can change at any point in the game. Rookie Explorer and Rookie Recruit are the most basic and easiest difficulty in the game. During Rookie Explorer, your character won’t die which means a completely stress-free experience.
