Catching Tuna in Dave the Diver

As mentioned earlier, Tuna fish are incredibly agile. Aside from that, they can also deplete your Oxygen Tank rather easily. However, there are some tips that you can use to counter all that.

In order to catch Tuna, you will first need to trigger the Tuna Party event. For that, look out for an e-mail about it at Bancho’s Sushi. As the name suggests, the event is all about people craving Tuna so you will need to catch a lot of them.

Steel Net Sensor Traps

Before you start to catch Tuna, you will need to get yourself some Steel Net Sensor Traps. These are specifically designed for catching Tuna and can be purchased from Cobra’s Shop.

Once you have purchased some Steel Net Sensor Traps, you will need to lay them in the area with a few fish swimming around. If by luck, a few fish swim through the trap, you will be able to capture them without much effort. Once you are done, use the Underwater Drone to lift them onto your boat.

Other Methods

Alternatively, if you are unable to get Steel Net Sensor Traps, you can also use something like Hush Dart or Mosin-Nagant Sniper Rifle can put Tuna to sleep temporarily, giving you a chance to catch them. Some other options include Harpoons, etc. but do note that constantly damaging Tuna will lower the quality of the meat which is not ideal! Therefore, if possible, try to stick to Steel Net Sensor Traps.
