Remnant 2 Annihilation

Needless to say but the Annihilation is a fairly challenging fight. This is why we recommend entering the fight at the recommended level. Furthermore, having things such as an Upgraded Dragon Heart can be very beneficial.

Phase One

You begin the fight in a massive area with little to no cover. In the area, you will notice some circles that deal a significant amount of damage if you stay in them. Aside from those, there is Annihilation and an array of attacks that you need to watch out for …

Slam AttackThis slam attack has way too much range and can easily catch you unaware. Be sure to keep this in mind!
Lunge AttackAnnhiliation lunges toward you with its massive sword.
BeamIt also sends out an energy beam which is somewhat easy to dodge as long as you are listening to the sound that it creates.
Thrust AttackThis one too has too much range. Whenever you see Annihilation thrust the sword into the ground, run away!
Grab AttackSometimes, it will try to grab you which can be really hard to tell. Luckily, if you are quick enough, you should be able to break free before enough damage has been dealt.
Sweeping AttackThis one is pretty simple. Keep your distance to avoid its sweeps.

Similar to other bosses, it is all about learning the attack patterns. Keep at it and you will get consistent with pushing it to the second phase.

Phase Two

This phase may appear unfair to some people since there is a lot going on. In this phase, you are in a smaller arena, Annihilation is even more aggressive and even gets a few extra attacks.

Ground SlamWhen you see it slamming its sword down, move away from the area since it deals a considerable amount of damage.
Sweeping AttackThis one should not be hard to dodge as long as you are paying attention — it is your basic sweeping attack that almost every boss has in its arsenal.
Yellow GroundThis one is easy to remember. Yellow area is bad! Do not step in it.
LasersAvoid the lasers. There is nothing else to say here.
Malware GroundThis one is easy to remember. The yellow area is bad! Do not step in it.
Flying OrbsYou should know this by now — shoot the orbs.
TeleportationDespite it being a massive Root Dragon, Annihilation will keep on teleporting across the arena throughout the fight. This can be really tricky to manage if you are not quick enough.

Once you have bested the second phase, there is one small stretch before you can claim victory.

Phase Three

By now you have already bested Annihilation. This phase is all about clearing out the area of any remaining enemies. Once you have done that, a cutscene will play. As a reward for completing Remnant 2, you will get the Broken Compass, Forgotten Memory, Scholar Trait, Tome of Knowledge, Lumenite Crystals, and some Scrap.

This is everything we have got on how to beat Annihilation in Remnant 2. If there is anything else that you would like to add, be sure to let us know in the comments below!
