Retro Rewind is one of those games where you can use a variety of cheat codes. But the system slighty different then most other games. Retro Rewind cheat codes are actually inside a developer room that opens to all players once they reach level 20. Cheat codes allow the player to get more money in Retro Rewind, get decorations, among other things.
While it does take you out of the immersion of the store experience, it is fun little sandbox where you can experiment. However, I highly recommend you make sure to create a save point for yourself before entering the cheats room in Retro Rewind. It is confirmed that using cheats room will turn your achievements off.

How to Find and Enter the Cheats Room in Retro Rewind
Once you reach level 20 you need to wait till Tuesday or Thursday. You can only access the store after closing hours on these two weekdays. After closing hours make sure not to close the store and go to the storage room. Go through cracked door and look for the Tape Dealer’s table.

There will be an open door behind the table of the Tape Dealer. This door leads to the Cheats Room and is only accessible on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Cheats Room is actually a small office and here you can look for computer that is your cheats hub. Use the computer to pump more funds into your store, unlock items, and even change movement settings.
Note: Cash can only be added $1000 at a time.
For infinite money you’ll need to use Trainers that third party software to enable cheats in Retro Rewind. But those are not recommended if you don’t know what you’re doing.
These are the most popular and safe options for active cheats:
- XMODHUB Trainer (recommended, auto-updates):

Pro tip: Use trainers or the dev room on a backup save to avoid ruining your main playthrough.
