The High Keep is one of the Main Quests in Hogwarts Legacy that involves freeing a couple of Hippogriffs from Poachers. You need to have Wingardium Leviosa and be at least Level 17 to tackle the quest. One objective that a lot of people seem to have trouble with is ‘Climbing the Battlements’ which is what this guide is all about!

To start The High Keep quest, you need to travel to Falbarton Castle to meet with Natty. There should be a Floo Flame nearby that you can activate. From the Floo Flame, follow the path on the right and climb the platform near the wall. After climbing up, use Depulso on the mechanism to open the small gate. Now use Wingardium Leviosa on the crate to pull it outside. You need to position the crate directly below the hole and climb up.

Once you are up, head to the backside and use Wingardium Leviosa on the crate (via the opening) to pull it a little toward yourself. From there, crouch through the crawl space to reach the Main Gate mechanism. Just like before, use Depulso on the mechanism a couple of times and then use Accio on the hook to ensure that the portcullis stays in place.

After meeting with Natty, continue to follow her for a cutscene. Once you are separated with Natty, continue ahead to climb a scaffolding and use Depulso on the crate to push it down. From there, use Wingardium Leviosa to move the crate near the gap that you need to cross. You need to use Leviosa on the crate to keep it suspended in the air to jump across the gap.

The next areas are simple to complete. Try to stay invisible, sneak behind enemies, and defeat them one by one. You will also need to lockpick some doors using Alohomora. Natty will join you on the rooftop followed by a brief cutscene. Keep on following Natty on Highwing to complete the quest. As for a reward, you will get 260 XP, Hippogriff Mounts, and the Hippogriff Beasts entry.
