Companions or Legendary Keepsakes in Hades are items that you can equip to acquire a unique summon ability that can only be used once per run. With the release of v.1.0 of the game, there are now a total of 6 companions that you can unlock. In this guide, we’ll walk you through everything you need to know about unlocking all 6 Legendary Keepsakes in Hades.
Unlock All Legendary Keepsakes / Companions in Hades
In order to unlock Companions, you’ll need to keep on gifting Nectars to different characters until you see their Affinity Gauge in the Codex show a heart accompanied by a keyhole.
This denotes that you’ll need to complete a favor for them. After completing the favor, you’ll need to gift Ambrosia to the said character and acquire the companion.
Once unlocked, you’ll need to equip the companion by heading over to the display case in the courtyard. Do note that once a companion has been equipped, you won’t be able to change it mid-run or even remove it.
Companions can also be upgraded. To upgrade a companion, you’ll need some more Ambrosia. With enough Ambrosia in hand, you’ll need to head over to the display case from where you equip the companion and simply upgrade your desired companion. Upgrading a Legendary Keepsake will increase its maximum uses.
