How To Find Memory Crystal Locations in GreedFall
Memory Crystal Location #1: At the outset of the game, upon defeating the Unknown Creature at the docks in Serene and boarding the boat to New Serene during the Great Departure quest, you will receive your first Memory Crystal. This typically occurs around level 4.
Memory Crystal Location #2: “Face to Face with the Demon” – Completing this quest and defeating Nadaig Vedemen while solving the accompanying drum puzzle will reward you with the second Memory Crystal. Ensure you complete the puzzles after defeating the demon to obtain the drop.
Memory Crystal Location #3: “Forever a Naut” – During Vasco’s third loyalty mission, players will journey to Wenshaganaw, The Singing Waters, to locate the wreckage of a Naut ship. Exploring the wreckage, you will encounter the optional boss Nadaig Glendemen, who drops the third Memory Crystal upon defeat.
Memory Crystal Location #4: “In Pursuit of the Tierna Harh Cadachtas” – During this main quest, players will face off against the formidable boss Nadaig Frasamen, who drops the fifth and final Memory Crystal upon defeat.
Once you have the Memory Crystals you can reset your skills in the menu. In the skills menu, you will also be able to see the number of Memory Crystals that you have. You can then respec your skills as you see fit. Reshuffle your abilities the way you like. You do get a free crystal at the beginning of the game so you can reset your skills once for free.
You can earn more of these Memory Crystals by killing optional bosses, mini-bosses, and some of the main story boss enemies. Even if you kill all of them you will still have a limited number of crystals which means that you can only reset your skills a few times. That is why you should only use these crystals when you really need to.
