God Of War: Ragnarok is just a few hours away and update 2.0 has been released ahead of launch for the PS4 and PS5. The download size is pretty small so you can easily download it if you are interested in playing God of War: Ragnarok at launch.
Update: The day one update includes plenty of bug fixes and improvements as well as features such as additional tuning and coverage for DualSense controller haptics. The patch notes have been released but we have not included them due to potential spoilers. You can check them out on the official website.
The update first came out for PS4 and then later the PS5. The total size of the update is 745 MB, which can be downloaded pretty quickly even if you do not have the fastest internet connection in the world. This is the fourth update that the game has got ahead of launch.
Seeing how small the update size is, it would be safe to assume that this is for bug fixes and little more. There are no patch notes as of right now, so there is no way of knowing if there are any performance enhancements or quality-of-life improvements that have been made.
If you have pre-ordered God Of War: Ragnarok digitally, then you should update it to version 2.0 in order to play it as soon as it unlocks. Since you will need the latest version of the game in order to play it. God Of War: Ragnarok takes up about 100GB of storage on the PS5 and about 110GB on the PS4.
