How To Get Frozen Devil Legendary Pistol In Borderlands 3

Borderlands 3 is a treasure trove of Easter eggs and references from all kinds of pop culture including Iron Man, Futurama, and even various video games. Therefore, the recent DLC of the game also has an Easter egg about Overwatch, which is the Mei-themed “Frozen Devil” pistol. In this guide, we are going to go over how you can get the Frozen Devil legendary pistol in Borderlands 3.

The Frozen Devil Pistol

First of all, this legendary weapon is only available with the freshly released DLC with an Eldrich horror theme by the name of Guns, Love and Tentacles. There are altogether 29 new Legendaries introduced in the game including the Frozen Devil gun.

The weapon itself is a Cryo pistol that has icicles for bullets and its potential stats are quite amazing. If you are wondering how it is related to Overwatch, the pistol has text on it in red font saying “Not sorry, not sorry, not sorry,” which is a reference to the Mei quote “Sorry, sorry, sorry” from the game.

How to obtain the Frozen Devil Pistol

The pistol, similar to other Legendary arms available in Borderlands 3, is acquired by accomplishing a Crew Challenge. You can get it from one of Hammerlock’s Occult Hunts and it is also dropped in Negul Neshai by Kukuwajack. Negul Neshai is one of the new areas that are introduced in the DLC.

Moving on to the core of the action now, you will first need to kill the Wendigo to access the location of Negul Neshai. The area has three Crew Challenges including the spawn required to farm the Hydrafrost and the KuKuwajack Hunt.

Now the Kukuwajack’s appearance resembles an enormous scorpion, cloned together with a dinosaur and xenomorph. Although ugly, the monster is quite easy to be rid of. The Occult Hunt will be completed upon the Kukuwajack’s defeat and you will receive the Legendary pistol.

On a side note, the new DLC Guns, Love, and Tentacles, comes with an update 1.10. This upgrades the level cap allowing the players to climb up till level 57. There have also been some loot updates and bug fixes that make your gameplay easier, hence more enjoyable.
