Fix #1
The first fix you need to try is to run the Windows Troubleshooter app. Open “Control Panel” > type “Troubleshoot” in the search at the top-right. From the search results, click on “Troubleshooting” and then click on “Program” and then click on “Program Compatibility Troubleshooter”. A new window will pop up and you need to click on “Advanced” and check “Apply repairs automatically”. Press next and follow the instructions. When prompted, click on “Apply this fix”. Restart your PC and the error will be fixed.

Fix #2
If troubleshooting hasn’t worked for you then you need to reset Windows Store. Press “Windows + R” > type “Wsreset.exe” in the window that pops up and press enter. Restart your PC and Windows Store will be reset, you shouldn’t be getting Windows Error 0x80072F7D.

If that hasn’t worked for you then you can reset Windows Store another way. Press “Windows + X” > Apps and Features > Look for and click ones on “Microsoft Store” > click “Advanced” > scroll down and click on “Reset”. Restart your system and the error will be gone.

Fix #3
If the above fixes didn’t work for you then you can try changing your Internet Settings. Press “Win + I” > Network & Settings > Network And Sharing Center. Click on “Internet Options” > Advanced > check “Use TLS 1.2” under Settings. Apply the changes, restart your PC and the error will be fixed.

Fix #4
If Windows Error 0x80072F7D is still bothering you then it’s time to clean out cookies and cache and here is how to do it.

Open Microsoft Edge > click on the three dots at top right > settings > click “Choose what to clear”. Tich the boxes for Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data, and Cached data and files. Now click on the Clear button, restart your PC and the error will be fixed.
