If you are starting off Diablo 4 and want to record the game via Shadowplay, then you might have noticed that you can’t. You press the record button or the hotkeys, but nothing happens.
It has happened to me, and I actually thought that it was recording in the background, but it did nothing. This is how you can fix the issue of Nvidia Shadowplay not recording your Diablo 4 gameplay.
Nvidia Shadowplay Not Recording Diablo 4 Gameplay
The fix to the issue of Nvidia Shadowplay not recording Diablo 4 gameplay is pretty simple. All you have to do is close Netflix, and the Shadowplay will start working as it should. Chances are, that you have Netflix open in the background. It could be the app, or you might have Netflix open in a browser tab. It does not even have to be the main or active tab; it could be in one of the many tabs that you have opened in the background.
I personally had this issue and notice that if I closed Netflix, Shadowplay would start working normally, but as soon as I opened up Netflix in a browser tab, it would stop recording. Just something to keep in mind if you want to record your Diablo 4 gameplay.
This is a rather odd issue, but fortunately, there is a quick and easy fix that should allow you to record your gameplay. Note that this is not a one-fix for all solution. If you do not have Netflix open in the background, then something else could be wrong.
