These music discs, containing Final Fantasy soundtrack, are mostly found in cities and can be collected after completing the game. The following are the locations of all the music disc collectibles that you can find in Final Fantasy VII Remake:
Music Disc #3 – Tifa’s Theme
You need to go to the Seventh Heaven bar during the 3rd chapter and interact with the jukebox.
Music Disc #27 – Hip Hop de Chocobo
During the 3rd chapter, you need to go to the right of the Seventh Heaven bar and speak with the man standing near the gramophone.
Music Disc #1 – The Prelude
You need to buy it from the shop that you visit with Tifa during the 3rd chapter.
Music Disc #4 – Barret’s Theme
During the 3rd chapter, go to the Undercity Station and buy it from the shop for 50 Gil.
Music Disc #28 – Stamp
You can buy it from the vending machine at the end of the 5th chapter. You’ll find the vending machine after a couple of flamethrower turrets.
Music Disc #18 – Electric de Chocobo
You can buy this music disc from a vending machine during the 6th chapter. To find the vending machine, turn off all the lamps and take the smaller elevator on the west side. It should lead you toward the fans and the vending machine.
Music Disc #2 – Bombing Mission
During the 8th chapter, before you fight Airbuster, make sure to buy this music disc from the vending machine – it’s immediately after you press three switches simultaneously.
Music Disc #21 – Cait Sith’s Theme
You can buy this one from the vending machine at the train station that you visit with Aerith during the 8th chapter.
Music Disc #25 – Tango of Tears
During the 8th chapter, after Aerith places flowers, check the left building (a shelter house for the elderly) to find this music disc collectible.
Music Disc #19 – Costa del Sol
You can purchase it from the item shop in the Sector 5 Slums area during the 3rd or 8th chapter.
Music Disc #20 – Gold Saucer
You can buy this collectible from the Moogle Emporium during the 8th chapter.
Music Disc #22 – Cosmo Canyon
After lifting Aerith with a robotic arm, you need to head all the way to the end of the area to find a vending machine with this music disc.
Music Disc #10 – Honeybee Inn
You can buy this one from the item shop during the 9th chapter.
Music Disc #17 – Farm Boy
You need to speak with the girl in a cowboy hat surrounded by mannequins during the 9th chapter to get the music disc.
Music Disc #8 – Under the Rotting Pizza
You need to interact with the jukebox at Sector 6 Slums area (wall market) to get this one.
Music Disc #29 – The Midgar Blues
You need to speak with the man singing the karaoke in the bar during the 9th chapter to get this music disc.
Music Disc #26 – Let the Battles Begin!
After you get to the Honeybee Inn during the 9th chapter, speak with the Bee Ladies and get a “Great” rating on the challenge to unlock this music disc. Don’t worry about failing – you can try this as many times as you want with a manual save.
Music Disc #11 – Don of the Slums
You can purchase it from the vending machine in the room you wake up in during the 9th chapter.
Music Disc #9 – The Oppressed
During the 10th chapter, clear the drain for the first time and purchase the music disc from the vending machine in the very next room.
Music Disc #6 – Let the Battles Begin!
You can find this music disc collectible while you’re on your main story path during the 11th chapter – purchase it from the “Potions & Music” vending machine.
Music Disc #15 – On Our Way
You can buy it from the item shop in the camp during the 13th chapter for a measly 50 Gil.
Music Disc #14 – Main Theme of FFVII
You can this music disc from the vending machine that appears on your main story path during the 13th chapter.
Music Disc #23 – Descendant of Shinobi
You need to find the merchant roaming on the outskirts of the city during the 8th chapter to purchase this music disc from him. It’s right next to where Johnny is.
Music Disc #7 – Turk’s Theme
You need to speak with the woman standing at the edge of water between Sector 5 and Sector 6 to get this music disc.
Music Disc #16 – Good Night, Until Tomorrow
You need to head inside the hotel during the 14th chapter and speak with the man standing next to the reception desk to get this music disc.

You need to buy this music disc from the souvenir item shop at the Colosseum during the 14th chapter.
Music Disc #30 – Stand Up
A girl in an alleyway on the left of Honeybee Inn gives you this music disc.
Music Disc #24 – Wutai
During the 14th chapter, while you’re in Urban Advancement District, you’ll need to speak with an NPC on the west side to get this music disc collectible.
Music Disc #13 – The Case
You need to get it from the vending machine in Aqueduct-4 as you’re progressing through the main story of the 14th chapter.
Music Disc #5 – Lurking in the Darkness
You need to buy it from the vending machine that you’ll come across during the 15th chapter. It’s practically impossible not to see this vending machine if you’re paying a little attention to your surroundings.
Music Disc #31 – Scarlet’s Theme
During the 16th chapter, interact with the jukebox on the right of the combat simulation to get it.
