Once you manage to complete all the Fallout 76 Wastelanders quests you will be able to trade caps for gold bullion. Gold bullion will allow you to get plans for crafting weapons and armor parts and more. The Fallout 76 Wastelanders gold bullion farming guide we will explain how to get more gold bars.

Fallout 76 Wastelanders Gold Bullion Farming

The first thing you need to do is complete the Wastelanders story mode. It only takes a couple of hours to go through and once the story mode is complete, speak with  Smitey in The Wayward south of Vault 76. Smithey is the one who can convert caps into gold bars, yeah, if only we had an irl Smitey.

Speak with Smitey and he will give you 50 gold bars for 3000 caps but keep in mind that no matter how many caps you have saved up, there is a limit of 300 gold bars per week. You can only spend 9000 caps to get 300 gold bullion weekly. But there are other ways to make some extra gold bullion in Fallout 76 Wastelanders. There daily factions quests and public events you can complete for farming gold bars in Fallout 76 Wastelanders. Completing factions quests get you treasury notes and each of these notes is worth ten gold bars.

You can get gold bars from thee Gold Press Machine in the faction camps. Keep in mind that you can get a maximum of 200 gold bullion per day, which is still far better than 300 per week.

Once you have enough gold bars you can go to Vault 79 to exchange them for plans. The price isn’t fixed but it is usually between 50 to 250 gold bars depending on the plan. You can use the plans to craft new weapons and armor. Moreover, you can also sell gold bars for a profit to other players.

That’s all we have in the Fallout 76 Wastelanders Gold Bars farming guide. If you need more help with the game check out Fallout 76 Wastelanders Wiki.
