Crafting is one of the main mechanics in Fallout 76. Players have to craft a lot of items, upgrade weapons and armor, cook meals in order to survive and thrive in the world of Fallout. This Fallout 76 guide will help players with the crafting system in the game.
Fallout 76 Crafting
There are multiple crafting tables in Fallout 76, each allowing players to craft or upgrade a specific type of item. Players can create crafting tables in the CAMP system or they can use the already existing ones in a town like Flatwoods. The following are the types of crafting tables players can create or find in the game.
Armor Workbench – Craft, upgrade, and repair armor
Weapons Workbench – Craft, upgrade, and repair weapon
Chemistry Station – Craft Stimpaks, Rad-X, gunpowder, ammo for energy weapons
Cooking Station – Cook/process food
Tinker’s Station – Craft ammo and explosives
Power Armor Station – Upgrade and repair power armor
How To Craft
Interact with the crafting table and players will see a list of items that can be crafted. If players have the required resources, they can craft these items right away.
However, to craft advanced items players need to acquire recipes and then read them. Then players will be able to craft these advanced items as they’ll be added to the list of craftable items when players interact with the crafting table.
Players can buy Recipes from merchants or other players. The recipe bought from another player can only be read once. Some recipes are also rewarded to players for completing quests or taking part in events.
Furthermore, to craft certain items players need Intelligence Perks. If any weapon it item needs a specific perk, players will see that information while trying to craft it.
How To Get Crafting Materials
Crafting material s scattered throughout the game or players can disassemble items at the crafting table to get more resources. So, don’t just dispose of the junk you find in the game, instead, disassemble it to gain crafting materials.
