The following are some steps that you can follow in order to get the best performance when playing F1 2020 on PC.
Update Your Graphics Drivers
Before doing anything at all, make sure that your graphics drivers are up to date. When a new game is released, Nvidia and AMD release a new driver update that improves the performance of your graphics card for that specific game. Make sure that your graphics card drivers are up to date in order to get the best possible performance. Use the links below to learn about the latest drivers and install them.
Steam Launch Tweak
You can tweak Steam settings to make sure that your hardware is being used to the max. Launch steam and go to your games library. Find F1 2020 and right-click on it. Click on properties and go to the set launch options section located in the general tab. Past the following in the command box:

Apply these changes and restart the game. If you notice stream tearing then you can try using VSync. If you monitor supports G-Sync or FreeSync then you can go with those as well.
