Skill points in Enshrouded are hard to come by so if for some reason you’re not happy with how they are spent, it makes sense for the game to allow a respect option. Thankfully, Enshrouded does allow players to respec skill points and the process is pretty simple. In my Enshrouded guide, you will find everything you need to know on how to respec skills in Ensharouded.
How To Respec In Enshrouded
To respec skill points in Enshrouded you need to interact with a Flame Alter. You interact with the Flame Alter multiple times throughout the game and it is usually at or near your base. To locate one, keep an eye out for its distinctive glow and interact with it. Once you’re there, you’ll find an option to ‘Respec Skill Points.’ It’s that simple!
So how much does it cost of respec? Well, I can tell you that Respeccing isn’t free – it has its price. Initially, you’ll need 10 runes to reset all your skill points. These runes can be gathered in various ways, such as defeating shrouded enemies or salvaging higher-quality weapons. Keep in mind, though, that the cost of respeccing escalates with your level.
How To Build A Flame Alter In Enshrouded
The process of building a a Flame Altar begins with a quest named “Flame Alter and Base Improvements.” After receiving the Spark from the starting area shrine, you’re all set to make your mark in the game. To craft the Flame Altar, you’ll need to collect a modest amount of materials, specifically stones.
These are plentiful and easy to find – you’ll spot them scattered across the landscape. Initially, you don’t need any specialized tools to collect these stones; simply pick them up as you explore.
Once you’ve gathered enough stones (5 in total), you’re ready to set up the altar. Select it from your inventory and find the right spot. The game may require a relatively flat surface, so you might need to move around a bit to find the perfect location. Once placed, the Flame Altar is ready to use.
How To Upgrade Flame Alter In Enshrouded
To start upgrading your Flame Altar, you first need to gather specific materials, namely Wax and Flintstone among others. The materials needed to upgrade vary depending on the level of upgrade you’re aiming for. The hardest material to get is Spark which can only be acquired by interacting with Flame Shrines.
With each upgrade, your Flame Altar becomes a stronger asset. You might unlock new crafting recipes, gain increased protection from environmental hazards, or even discover new abilities that aid in your exploration and battles. The upgraded altar can also serve as a more efficient hub for managing your skills and resources.
