One of the major announcements that were part of the recent showcase is crossplay. Destiny 2 players can now play with friends no matter which platform they have the game on. In this guide, we are going to go over how you can enable or disable crossplay in destiny 2.
PC players have an advantage over console gamers due to keyboard and mouse support so PC and console cross-play is not supported in competitive game modes. You can however play with your friends in other activities. If you want to disable crossplay entirely then the following is what you need to do.
Enable Or Disable Crossplay In Destiny 2
To disable crossplay on PlayStation head into the game settings and you will find the option to disable crossplay. If you are on Xbox, head into the Xbox Settings and you can turn off crossplay from here. Head to Online Safety and Family, Communication and Multiplayer, Privacy and block “You can join cross-network play”.
Using the crossplay feature is very simple. All that you need to do is open the Director and go into the invites section. Here you can add the friend that you want to invite no matter which platform they have the game on.
This is how you can enable or disable crossplay in Destiny 2. If you are interested in learning more about the game you can check out the Destiny 2: The Witch Queen Collector’s Edition. For more guides related to the game, check out our Destiny 2 guides hub.
