Elden Ring is full of secrets and hidden paths, and one of the most exciting ways to uncover them is by finding illusory walls. These walls look like solid barriers, but you can walk right through them if you know how to find the right spot.

Beyond the imaginary walls, you’ll find hidden rooms, secret passages, and sometimes even valuable treasures. Of course, not all illusory walls are easy to find – some are cleverly hidden, and dangerous enemies guard others. But if you’re willing to explore every nook and cranny of Elden Rings, you’re sure to find some great secrets.

Where To Find Illusory Walls

Before finding Illusory Walls, you first need to know the names of the walls. Below are some Illusory Walls:

  • Volcano Manor
  • Black Knife Catacombs
  • Giant-Conquering Hero’s Grave
  • Caelid Catacombs
  • West Liurnia
  • Altus Plateau
  • Academy of Raya Lucaria

Volcano Manor Illusory Walls

Upon first inspection, the hallway appears to be a dead end. However, it becomes clear that an illusory wall blocks the way forward upon closer inspection. To reach the hidden room beyond, all that is needed is to open the first door on the right and walk through the wall. Within this secret room, one can find treasures, including the drawing-room key. This key is essential for venturing further into the house and uncovering all of its secrets. So be sure to keep an eye out for hidden doors and walls, as they could lead to some fantastic discoveries.

Black Knife Catacombs Illusory Walls

An optional boss in this dungeon can be accessed by taking the high road. Travel up the blades in the middle area and hit the wall at the end of the passage. After jumping off, you’ll be right in front of the door to the boss’s room. This boss is demanding, but it’s worth defeating if you’re up for the challenge!

Giant-Conquering Hero’s Grave Illusory Walls

Deep in the heart of the Grace, there lies a hidden passage. To find it, start from the main hall and follow the hallway until it opens up. Then turn right and look for the window arch; there is an illusory wall when you descend the first set of steps into the cave.

Caelid Catacombs Illusory Walls

You descend the staircase into the misty depths of the marsh, pausing for a moment to take in your surroundings. The air is thick with humidity, and the sounds of crickets and frogs fill the air. As you turn to the right, you see a platform in the distance where the Archer Skeleton is standing. Without hesitation, you run towards the wall and smash it open with your fists.

After hours of exploring the dank and dusty dungeon, you finally catch a glimpse of the exit. But as you move closer, you see that a locked door blocks the way. Frustrated, you turn to survey the room, and your eyes fall on a column in the middle of the room. The illusory wall on the column in the middle of the previous room.

West Liurnia Illusory Walls

Elden Ring is a video game with an extensive and detailed world for players to explore. One area of interest is West Liurnia, which features six Illusory Walls.

Road’s End Catacombs can be found by heading to the summoning pool and descending the stairs to the first alcove. Here, you will find your first Illusory Wall. If you continue down the path, you will come to a second alcove with another Illusory Wall. This is the entrance to an optional boss. If you hit this wall, the door to the optional boss will open. You can also find two additional Illusory Walls at the end of the path. These are likewise dead ends. However, if you face the Kingsrealm Ruins from the road to the Manor Site of Grace, you will see that there is a doorway in front of the illusory wall.

Taking the hidden stairway northeast of Ranni’s Rise, you descend into a room full of dazed people. To discover another illusory wall, proceed to the southern end of the room and strike the wall at the end. Doing so reveals a secret passage leading to Three Sisters.

Altus Plateau Illusory Walls

A Sealed Tunnel is a mysterious place located on the capital’s outskirts. It appears to be sealed off at first glance, but there is an illusory wall to the west of the area that you can use to enter the tunnel.

Academy of Raya Lucaria Illusory Walls

The Schoolhouse Classroom is a historic site located on the grounds of Grace. You’ll see a wall on the opposite side of the room. Hit that wall, and you’ll be able to access an Illusory Wall.

Take the right-hand path to reach the Debate Parlor as you enter the Schoolhouse Classroom. Continue straight until you reach a hallway with two staircases on either side. When you come to the room with two staircases on either side, go right at the first set of steps and then right again. To the left of the above staircase is an illusion wall.
