There are a lot of buffs that the player can take advantage of in Elden Ring. One such buff that is very strong is known as the Golden Vow. It has a few versions that the player can get. In this Elden Ring guide, we have detailed all there is to know about how to get the Golden Vow.

Elden Ring Golden Vow

Golden Vow in Elden Ring is a buff that increases damage and defense. It has 2 different versions: an Incantation and an Ash of War – the Incantation is stronger than the Ash of War. Below, we have shared the locations of both the Incantation and the Ash of War:

Incantation

To get the Incantation, the player needs to travel to the Bridge of Inquiry, Mt. Gelmir. From there, keep on going straight until the Corpse-Stench Shack. There should be a corpse inside the shack that contains the Golden Vow. It is also important to note that it requires 25 Faith. Once activated, it boosts attack and defense for 80 seconds which is huge.

Ash of War

When it comes to acquiring the Ash of War, there are 2 methods of doing so. It comes pre-applied on the Golden Halberd that is dropped by Tree Sentinel in Limgrave. As for the standalone version, it is dropped a Godrick Knight in Limgrave. This enemy can be found near the northeast edge of the Warmaster Shack – mounted on a horseback. The standalone version can be applied on any weapon that allows the usage of Ash of War.
