Mining is a fairly simple process in Dyson Sphere Program but there are some tips that players can use for increased efficiency. This is something that needs to be done to smelt ores into ingots. In this Dyson Sphere Program guide, we’ve detailed everything there’s to know about how to harvest, refine, use the Fractioning Still in the game.
Dyson Sphere Program Harvest, Refine, Fraction
Below is everything there’s to know about how players can harvest, refine, and use the Fractioning Still to create Deuterium in the game:
How to Harvest
To harvest a resource, players need to place a Mining Machine in front of a material node and turn it on. It’s a good idea to have the Mining Machines cover as many material nodes as possible. Another thing that players need to keep in mind is that multiple Miners can be placed on a single node.
In order to rotate a Mining Machine to position them according to players’ desire, they need to press the ‘Shift’ button. Once the Mining Machine is all positioned and turned on, they need to click on it with a conveyor to build its output. There’s no need for a sorter to pull out of a Mining Machine.
How to Refine
After players have gathered an ore, it can be put into a Smelter to turn it into an Ingot or a Magnet. To do so, players will need to use Sorters to transfer items in and out of Smelters – it’s all pretty simple.
Fractioning Still is a machine in Dyson Sphere Program that is required to convert Hydrogen into Deuterium. It basically intakes Hydrogen from one side and outputs Deuterium on the other side.
As mentioned by JaxterSmith on Steam, the best way to do so is to make a circle of conveyors and placing the Fractioning Still alongside it. However, later down the road, when players have a steady supply of Hydrogen, they can simply connect the Hydrogen line to the Fractioning Still. A simple workflow of how everything works is provided below – courtesy of JaxterSmith:
