Vampiric Powers In Diablo 4 Season Of Blood Explained

Vampiric Powers are not something that you unlock and then forget about. These need to be unlocked, activated, and upgraded to make full use of them.

How To Unlock Vampiric Powers In Diablo 4 Season 2

To access Vampiric Powers in Diablo 4 Season of Blood, you need to start the seasonal content. Completing the initial seasonal quests will unlock this new mechanic and give you access to Vampiric Powers, Hunter’s Acclaim, Blood Harvest Event, and the Sanguine Circle.

How To Get More Vampiric Powers

Once you have unlocked the Vampiric Powers Mechanic, you will want to get the powers that you want or the ones that suit your build. You can do this using Hunter’s Acclaim (new season-only progression system) and the Blood Harvest Event (Vampire theme seasonal event). Additionally, you can also spend Potent Blood in the Sanguine Circle.

Hunter’s Acclaim And Blood Harvest Event

Hunter’s Acclaim has rewards that you can unlock once you have enough reputation. You can earn reputation by:

  • Completing Bounties
  • Bursting Blood Blisters
  • Completing World Events
  • Disrupting vampire rituals
  • Freeing prisoners

Rewards include:

  • Crafting materials
  • Items
  • Pact Consumables
  • New Vampiric Powers

We encourage players to take part in the Blood Harvest event since it is available from the start of the season, and you can start playing at level one. These events are always active in some part of the map.

Sanguine Circle And Potent Blood

The second way of getting new Vampiric Powers in Diablo 4 Season of Blood is by spending Potent Blood in the Sanguine Circle. You can spend 25 Potent Blood to randomly unlock new powers or upgrade existing ones that you have unlocked. This does have RNG, so a lot of luck is involved. So, you might not get the power that you are looking for.

You can farm Potent Blood by killing Lord Zir’s minions. You can easily do this by taking part in the new Blood Harvest Event, which is always active. The event also allows you to farm Blood Lires, which can be used to summon Blood Seekers in a mini-event. Blood Seekers drop Seeker Keys that open Seeker Caches (Blood Harvest chests), which can contain loot, gold, and Potent Blood.

How To Activate Vampiric Powers

Even with the RNG of getting new Vampiric Powers and the grind to get Potent Blood, you can’t simply unlock Vampiric Powers and then slot them into the Sanguine Circle. These powers need to be activated as well. Each Vampiric Power has pact requirements that need to be met in order for them to be activated.

In Diablo 4 Season of Blood, you get armor pieces that have pacts on them. There are three different kinds of pacts:

  • Pact of Ferocity (Crown)
  • Pact of Divinity (Chalice)
  • Pact of Eternity (Skull)

Only armor can have pacts and not jewelry or weapons. You can use items to remove facts or add pacts from armor pieces.

  • Cleansing Acid – All: removes all Pacts present on a piece of armor.
  • Pact of Perfocty: Adds a pact of Ferocity to Helm, Chest Armor, Gloves, Pants, or Boots.

You can use these items to match the Pacts that you need and match them to the requirements of the Vampiric Powers that you want to use. If you do not have these items, then you should take part in the Blood Harvest event or head over to the Alchemist.

Major And Minor Vampiric Powers

Major Vampiric Powers require 6 pacts, while Minor Vampiric Powers require up to 3 pacts.
