Diablo 4 Season of Blood adds vampiric powers and turns your character into a vampire, but the game does not explain the Vampiric Curse effect too well. This is a powerful and useful mechanic that you should know about and use in Season 2. In this Diablo 4 guide, I go over what you need to know about the Vampiric Curse.
What Is Vampiric Curse In Diablo 4 Season Of Blood
Vampiric Curse is a new status effect that you can apply to enemies with the right Vampiric Powers in Diablo 4 Season 2. So, you should not confuse Vampiric Curse with Vampiric Powers.
Vampiric Curse does not do anything on its own, but if you kill an enemy with this status effect, you store its soul. You can store up to 8 souls, and when you use an Agility, Defensive, or Macabre skill, you can release these souls to deal additional damage to enemies.
Furthermore, some Vampiric Powers will be more effective against enemies that are affected by the Vampiric Curse. Enemies affected by the curse can also become vulnerable. Since this is a minor mechanic in the new season that allows you to deal additional damage, you do not have to worry about it too much, but you should definitely make the most of it.
