Diablo 4 Dev Says Update To Uber Uniques Coming Soon

Adam Fletcher, Diablo 4 community director, has advised players to hold on to their unused Uber Uniques because there is an update coming for them in the future. Here is what you need to know.

Uber uniques are some of the rarest items in Diablo 4 which need a lot of grinding to get. The community is divided on whether or not they are worth getting. While it is a challenge for some, others see the grind as useless. But these are game-changing items that can be very beneficial.

Diablo 4 PSA: Keep Your Unused Uber Uniques

Global Community Development Director, Adam Fletcher has advised D4 players to keep the Uber Uniques that they are not using. He did not mention too much about what the team is working on but he did mention that there is “something in a future patch” that will affect these unused items.

He also posted the PSA on the Blizzard forum and while the working is very similar, he does mention the “design team” working on something for the Uber Uniques.

The design team has some upcoming plans for players who may have numerous Uber Uniques that they may not use.

The team wanted to get a PSA out to users to hang onto these for now. We will have more information to share soon regarding this but felt it was important to give an early heads up to players.

As of right now, we are not sure what this new update might be. Since Uber Unique items cannot be traded, that feature might be added in the future. We also know that a massive update is coming to itemization in season 4, so it is possible that the changes mentioned here are not related to season 4 changes.
