How Does Transmog System Work in Diablo 4?

Fashion is the true endgame.

There is no denying that fashion is the endgame — whether it be SoulsBorne or any ARPG out there. Diablo 4 has a huge emphasis on Transmog System which you can utilize to get your desired appearance without worrying about ruining your builds. If you are not familiar with how Transmog works, it basically lets you combine the appearance of one piece of armor with the stats. of another. For example, say you find a sweet-looking helmet having bad stats. but later on, find another helmet that does not look good but has decent stats., by using the Transmog System in Diablo 4, you will be able to use the appearance of the sweet-looking onto the one that has decent stats.

Diablo 4 Transmog System

To unlock Transmog in Diablo 4, you will need to reach Kyovashad. This is where you will get access to shops. After you have done that, you will be able to salvage equipment at a Blacksmith which will make its appearance available for Transmog.

After you have unlocked Transmog, you will be able to start customizing via the Transmog UI. To access it, you will need to open your Wardrobe. It can be accessed from any Town, right next to your Stash. From there, all that you need to do is to select your desired piece of equipment for each slot.

Using Pigments

Aside from this, you can also dye each piece of armor. There are a few Pigments that you can use to color each piece according to your preference. After you have finalized a set, you will be able to save it as an Ensemble in one of the available slots. This will allow you to change your appearance with a single click. The first slot is available to you by default. For the second one, you will need to spend 2,500 Gold. The last three are not available as of right now.

Transmog Limitations

It is also important to note that there are some limitations to Transmog. For instance, you are not allowed to Transmog the appearance of an armor piece that you have not found. There is also no need to hold onto an item that you wish to Transmog the appearance of. As long as you have found an armor piece, you are free to dismantle it, sell it, or whatever, you will still it available to Transmog.
