Strongholds in Diablo 4 are areas under the influence of demonic forces. While roaming around the world, you can choose to clear these after which they can turn into friendly towns with a Waypoint which is absolutely huge. Aside from this, you also receive some Renown and XP for clearing these Strongholds. Another reason why it is recommended to clear these Strongholds is they can unlock new dungeons. To find a Stronghold in Diablo 4, you will need to look for a small red-skull on the map. In this guide, you will find everything you need to know about Strongholds in Diablo 4.

Diablo 4 Strongholds

Strongholds in Diablo 4 have different objectives that you will need to complete as you push forward with a boss at the end. Each of these Strongholds also has a recommended level which you should pay attention to since some of these can be absolutely brutal.

There are only a handful of Strongholds that you can experience in the beta but I will update the guide with additional ones after it launches in a couple of months. As for the Strongholds in the beta, their locations are shared below:

Nostrava — Fractured Peaks
This one is near the western side of Kyovashad in the Fractured Peaks. It is recommended that you are at least Level 20 to complete it comfortably.

Malnok — Fractured Peaks
This one is near the east side of Kyovashad in the Fractured Peaks. Once again, you will need to be around Level 20 in order to do it easily.

Kor Dragan — Fractured Peaks
To complete this Stronghold, you will need to be at least Level 25. To find it, you will need to travel to the northwest side of Kyovashad in Fractured Peaks.
