Tips, Tricks, And Mistakes To Avoid In Diablo 4 Season Of Blood
The following are some of the tips, tricks, and mistakes that you should avoid when playing Diablo 4 Season of Blood (2):
- Dive Straight Into The Seasonal Content
- Complete Domhainne Tunnels Dungeon And Legion Activities
- Resistances Are Entirely Different Than Season 1
- Reduced Clutter And Time Spent In Towns
- You Can Target Farm Now
- You Can Teleport Right Into Dungeons

Dive Straight Into The Seasonal Content
When you launch into the new season, you want to pick up the seasonal quest and start completing them since this will unlock the seasonal powers and modifiers. This should be the very first thing that you do. There are major and minor powers, and we recommend completing the quests in order to gain access to these powers.
Complete Domhainne Tunnels Dungeon And Legion Activities
Once you have access to the seasonal powers, the next best thing that you can do is farm the Domhainne Tunnels dungeon. Load into the dungeon, farm the first part, leave, reset the dungeon, rinse, and repeat to gain a lot of XP fast.
We also recommend completing the Legion activities since they reward you with a lot of XP, and these activities are very effective for XP farming. They were already spawning frequently (30 minutes), but now they spawn every 25 minutes. So you should definitely take advantage of them.
Resistances Are Entirely Different Than Season 1
In the first season of Diablo 4, you could put on some armor to get resistance, but that is no longer the case since resistance works differently now. Resistances are now going to actually reduce the amount of damage taken from different elements by the amount mentioned on your character sheet.
This means that if you have 50% fire resistance, for example, then you will negate 50% of the incoming fire damage. 70% resistance is the new soft cap, and you can get up to 70% elemental resistance for any element. You can also find some unique items that will allow you to get your resistance up to 85%.
While armor did most of the damage blocking in the first season, resistances are very important in Diablo 4 Season of Blood. Remember that your armor is not going to block any elemental damage, and your elemental resistances are not going to block any physical damage.
Necromancer and Sorcerer are going to have better resistance since they are intelligence-based classes, and resistance increases based on Intelligence. Other classes will need to try a bit harder to get to the resistance soft cap and beyond.
Reduced Clutter And Time Spent In Towns
If you think you could be spending the time you spend in towns farming XP and unique items, then you are not wrong. Luckily, the devs have reduced the amount of clutter, and now you no longer get lower-tier items. They will automatically be salvaged so that you do not have to pick them up and dismantle or sell them.
To make things even better, Diablo 4 now gives you more gold for completing different activities, so you do not have to sell rare items between every single run, and you can keep going at it without having to head back down again and again.
Furthermore, the cost of enrolling your items a second or third time has been greatly reduced, so you should definitely do that now. Lastly, the stash now has a search bar so you can look up different stats, such as fire resistance, to make it easier to find specific pieces of gear, aspects, or weapons.
You Can Target Farm Now
You no longer need to rely on luck to have unique items drop. There are bosses that you can farm in order to get the unique that you are looking for. If you are playing as a Druid and want to get Tempest Roar, then you can farm Duriel, King of Maggots. Similarly, if you are a Rogue and want to get Asheara’s Khanjar, then you can farm Dark Master (Lord Zir Hard Mode).
This does not mean that these items are going to drop the first time you defeat these bosses, but it does mean that if you want to get a specific unique item, then you can target farm specific bosses rather than randomly going through the content in hopes of them dropping.

You Can Teleport Right Into Dungeons
In Diablo 4 Season 2, you teleport right into dungeons rather than teleporting outside the dungeon and then loading in. This will make dungeon farming much faster. It might not make much of a difference for more casual players, but if you are looking to make the most of your time and gain as much XP as possible, then this is going to shave off a lot of time.
Uber Lilith Is Now More Accessible
Previously, you needed to have a glitchy build that was doing more damage than intended or one-shotting everything in order to beat Uber Lilith. Now, the developers have scaled Uber Lilith so that it is more accessible to people who have regular builds. So, even if you are not playing the meta build, you should have an easier time defeating Lilith than before.
Helltides Are Way Better Now
Diablo 2 Season of Blood makes Helltide better than they previously were. The experience you earn and the rewards you get have been improved for Helltides, and you now have a better understanding of the reward you get from opening Helltide chests.
Farm World Bosses
Previously, world bosses spawned once every 6 hours, and nightmare dungeons were much more rewarding. The rewards for World Bosses are better in Diablo 4 Season of Blood, and the spawn time has been changed from 6 hours to 3.5 hours, so not only do you get better rewards, but you also see them more often. So you might as well fight them.
Leveling Is Much Faster
The devs have made leveling much faster, providing a boost of up to 40%. This means that if you got to level 70 in season one, then you will be able to get to level 100 in Diablo 4 Season of Blood or Season 2. If you were unable to take part in the endgame activities, such as the more challenging bosses, then you will be able to partake in those activities this season.
The rate of XP that you gain for your paragon glyphs has also been increased. So, getting your glyphs to level 15 is going to be much faster. This is where you want your glyph to be since, at level 15, it has the maximum radius and is the most powerful.
