Hammer of Sol has always been a very good subclass to use in PvE. However, it has become even better in Destiny 2: Lightfall with the revamped mod system, new Fragments, etc. With this build, you will be able to get infinite healing, unlimited abilities, infinite Orbs of Power, and decent damage. In this guide, we have detailed everything you need to know about the best Bonk Build for Solar Titan in Destiny 2: Lightfall.

Destiny 2: Lightfall Hammer of Bonk Solar Build

This build can clear all content without needing to use your weapons a whole lot. Your primary add-clear is going to be Throwing Hammer. Hammers will allow you to create Sunspots and Orbs of Power. These Orbs of Power will give Volatile Rounds to your Void weapons with Volatile Flow.

Subclass

Super Hammer of Sol
Abilities Rally Barricade, Strafe Lift, Throwing Hammer, Firebolt Grenade

Aspects and Fragments

Aspects Roaring Flames and Sol Invictus
Fragments Ember of Torches, Ember of Ashes, Ember of Searing, and Ember of Mercy

Armor Mods

Helmets Hands-On, Void Siphon, Heavy Ammo Finder
Arms Heavy Handed, Impact Induction
Chest Void Damage Resist, Arc Damage Resist, Solar Damage Resist
Legs Void Weapon Surge, Recuperation, Innervation
Class Item  Bomber, Time Dilation, One-Two Finisher

Exotic

For the Exotic, we will be using Synthoceps. This makes your Throwing Hammer do increased damage when you are surrounded by enemies.

Stats. Distribution

You need to have T10 Resilience and Discipline if possible. After that, you can put the rest of the points in Recovery, Intellect, Strength, and Mobility.

Recommended Weapons

When it comes to recommended weapons, you should consider a Void-energy Submachine Gun with Demolitionist such as Unforgiven from Duality. You can definitely use something else but in Season of Defiance, you are able to use Volatile Rounds from Volatile Flow which is massive.

In the Power Weapon slot, you can use Tractor Cannon to debuff targets so that your Throwing Hammers do extra damage. As for the Kinetic slot, feel free to use anything such as Succession, Deliverance, Riptide, Heritage, etc.

Gameplay Loop

Your gameplay loop is very simple. You start off by throwing a Throwing Hammer to defeat a red bar and create an Orb of Power, become Radiant, and make a Sunspot in the area. After that, toss Firebolt Grenades to Scorch enemies and defeat these Scorched enemies to create a Firesprite from Ember of Searing.

Pick this Firesprite to get Restoration and get some Ability Energy. Whenever you come across a high-HP target, debuff with Tractor Cannon and damage with Firebolt Grenades, Throwing Hammers, etc. Keep on doing this until you have cleared the entire area.
