We’re closing in toward the end of Season of the Chosen and one of the last Seasonal Challenges is called Suited for Combat. In this guide, we’ve detailed everything there’s to know about easily completing Suited for Combat challenge in Destiny 2.
Destiny 2 Suited for Combat
Suited for Combat challenge in Destiny 2 requires players to defeat 400 combatants anywhere in the system with a full armor set and provides bonus progress for defeating Guardians.
While this seems incredibly straightforward, a lot of players are unable to complete it even when doing everything correctly. The reason is Bungie’s bad wording when it comes to the challenge’s description – not the first time, I know.
The thing that Bungie somehow forgot to add to the challenge’s description is that armor set that players need to wear is only the Seasonal Armor i.e., the Prafectus Armor. No other armor set including the one from the Deep Stone Crypt raid will count toward the challenge.
Prafectus Armor can be acquired from the Season Pass – the free one counts as well. As for players who dismantled it will need to farm it using Umbral Engrams – make sure to focus them to the Chosen Regalia at the Prismatic Recaster in H.E.L.M. Alternatively, they can also farm the Battleground activity as it’s got a chance to drop a piece of the Prafectus Armor from the Tribute Chest.
As for completing the challenge, Crucible is a good option for players who are decent at PvP. For players who are more inclined toward PvE can simply spend 10-15 minutes at the Thrall hallway in The Shattered Throne – grabbing a CP from LFG works fine.
Lastly, remember that all 5 pieces must be equipped for the challenge to progress.
