Destiny 2: How to Complete In the Hot Seat Challenge during Solstice 2023

It's not bugged, everyone. Calm down!

To get Kindling during Destiny 2: Solstice, you will need to max out your Event Card which contains different challenges, one of which is called In the Hot Seat. The challenge requires you to complete different activities on Neomuna. This is easier said than done as activities such as Public Events, Patrols, Vex Incursion, etc. do not give any progress. So how do you complete it? In this Destiny 2 guide, we have detailed everything you need to know about how to complete In the Hot Seat during Solstice 2023.

Destiny 2: Solstice 2023 In the Hot Seat

Completing the Event Challenge will reward you with an Enhancement Prism, an Event Ticket, and +2 Kindling which is why it is important to do it. You will need it to get the glows on the Solstice armor.

Below, we have detailed all the activities that you can do to complete this challenge and the percentages that they provide:

Hypernet Current Strike

Hypernet Current is the only Strike on Neomuna. A single run of the Strike will get you 30 percent progress which is very decent. Do note that it is a fairly lengthy Strike that can take around 5-7 minutes per run even if you are speedrunning it.

Lost Sectors

You can also run Lost Sectors – not on Legend / Master – to get 10 percent for a single completion. The thing is that LS on Neomuna are fairly lengthy so it can be quite a grind.

Campaign Missions

Rerunning different Campaign Missions – either on Classic or Legend – also grants 10 percent. There is one downside to this. You will have to sit through the Lightfall campaign again and I would not wish this on my enemies.

Root of Nightmares

While the newest raid, Root of Nightmares, takes place directly above Earth and is nowhere close to Neomuna, it somehow grants quite a lot of progress – maybe because the node is on Neptune?!

The best part is that you do not even need to run the entire raid. If you have got a pre-made fireteam or a part of an LFG server, you can find a CP for Nezarec and run it in 3-4 minutes to instantly get 70 percent per run. There are so many things that can one-phase Nezarec such as Thunderlord, RLs, etc.

Once you have done a CP, simply run the Hyper Current once to complete it.

In the Hot Seat is Bugged?

A lot of people are under the impression that the triumph is bugged. This is because different activities on Neptune such as Vex Incursion, Patrols, Public Events, etc. do not grant any progress at all. It is not bugged but worded very poorly. If you stick to the things mentioned above, you should be able to complete it in absolutely no time.

This is everything we have on how to complete In the Hot Seat during Destiny 2: Solstice 2023. If there is anything else that you would like to add, be sure to let us know in the comments down below!
