How to Perform Finishing Moves in Destiny 2 Shadowkeep?

This Destiny 2 Shadowkeep Finishing Moves Guide will give you a quick rundown of everything you need to know about how to perform the new Finishers in D2 Shadowkeep. A Finishing Move in Destiny 2, as the name suggests, is an instant killing blow that you can land on a weakened enemy.

Apart from some totally badass animations, Finishers in Shadowkeep can also gain additional effects from the Seasonal Artifacts – giving you more incentives of using them. But how do you use these Finishing Moves?

First, you need to damage an enemy for about 1/3rd of its HP. When an enemy is prepped for a Finisher, you should be able to notice a small, white orb on top of its head. As soon as you see this white orb, run up to the weak enemy and press R3 on consoles and G on PC – default bindings.

I should also mention it here but you need to be in the melee range of an enemy combatant to be able to land a successful Finisher. There are, however, some things that you need to keep in mind:

  • Finishing Moves in Shadowkeep can’t damage multiple weakened enemies simultaneously.
  • You aren’t immune to damage while in the animation.
  • Seasonal Artifact can provide you with additional benefits e.g. Heavy Ammo for using Finishers.
  • You can buy new Finishers from Eververse and equip them from the sub-menu above Emotes.
