There are 3 new Exotic Armor (Gauntlets) introduced in Destiny 2: Season of the Witch — one for each class. While each of these has some utility, the one for Titan is absolutely insane since it is like Celestial Nighthawk but for Burning Maul. If used correctly, it allows Titans to do around a million damage with their Super alone. Exotics for Hunter and Warlock are focused more on teamplay. In this guide, we have detailed everything you need to know about unlocking all-new Exotic Armor in Destiny 2: Season of the Witch.

How to Acquire D2: Season of the Witch Exotic Armor

There are multiple ways to obtain the new Exotic Armor in Season of the Witch.

The easiest method is by completing Lost Sectors on Legend or higher difficulty. Also, it is important to note that these Lost Sectors rotate daily — with each day offering a different reward. Therefore, you will need to wait for the Gauntlet Day for a chance to earn these new Exotic Gauntlets.

Alternatively, you can also participate in the Vex Strike Force on Neomuna. Completing this Public Event guarantees one Exotic Armor. Not only that, but it also prioritizes dropping the Exotic Armor that is missing from the Collections. Therefore, if you are only missing the new Exotic Armor in your Collections, you should be able to get it by completing the Vex Strike Force.

With that out of the way, here are all the new Exotic Armor introduced in Destiny 2: Season of the Witch:

Mothkeeper’s Wraps — Hunter

It transforms the Grenade into Loyal Moths. If the Moth hits an enemy, it detonates in a blinding explosion. On the other hand, if it reaches an ally, it provides a Void overshield. There is also a very cool interaction with the new Ex Diris (Exotic GL) that fires Moths.

Briarbinds — Warlock

Briarbinds enhance the Void Souls, allowing them to have increased duration, damage, and durability. You can also retrieve and redeploy the Void Souls by interacting with them. If used properly, you should have multiple on the field.

Pyrogale Gauntlets — Titan

This one is probably the best one out of all three. Pyrogale Gauntlets basically modify the Burning Maul, turning it into a devastating single high-damage slam that creates five cyclones of flame. Additionally, the second slam from Consecration creates a cyclone of flame. You can also gather 3x stacks of Roaring Flames using Synthoceps, switch to Pyrogale Gauntlets, and then cast your Burning Maul to do around a million damage with your Super alone. However, it is possible that this interaction is unintended and will be fixed in a later update.
