How to Open Seraph Chests in Destiny 2: Season of the Seraph

Heist Battlegrounds is the new seasonal activity in Destiny 2: Season of the Seraph. At the end of the activity, each player is presented with 2 chests — a Normal Chest that can be opened by simply pressing the ‘Interact’ button and a Seraph Chest that can only be opened if you’ve got some Seasonal Currency. In this Destiny 2 guide, we’ll walk you through everything you need to know about opening the Seraph Chests in Season of the Seraph.

In order to open a Seraph Chest at the end of Heist Battlegrounds, you’ll need to spend 500 Seraph Key Codes. If you’ve got 500 Seraph Key Codes to spend, you can interact with a Seraph Chest to obtain the rewards. But how do you get additional Seraph Key Codes?

Acquiring these Seraph Key Codes is very easy. All that you need to do is to play activities like Strikes, Crucible, Gambit, Patrols, Heist Battlegrounds, etc. At the end of these activities, you’ll be awarded with some Seraph Key Codes to spend. However, do note that amount of SKCs acquired from completing a Patrol won’t be the same as a Playlist Activity. Also, at the start of each week, there is a limited-time boost that lets you acquired extra SKCs from activity completions. There are also some boosts available in the Season Pass and at the Exo Frame that increases the amount of Seraph Key Codes that you can obtain.

Seraph Key Codes are capped at 2,000 and can’t be stored at the Postmaster. Therefore, we recommend that you use them whenever you get close to the maximum cap. You can get Seasonal Armor, Weapons, etc. from these Seraph Chests so it’s definitely worth it.

This is all we’ve got in how to open Seraph Chest in Destiny 2: Season of the Seraph. You can also see our detailed Destiny 2 wiki page for more tips and strategies.
