Heist Battlegrounds is a brand new Seasonal Activity in Destiny 2: Season of the Seraph. It involves exploring different Warmind Bunkers scattered throughout the Sol System, starting with the Moon. Each of these bunkers should also have rotating bosses at the end. In this Destiny 2 guide, we’ve detailed all there is to know about completing Heist Battleground: Moon in Season of the Seraph.
Phase 1 — Opening the Bunker
After landing on the Moon, you’ll need to eliminate waves of Fallen/Hive while staying away from the lasers coming from the Seraph Bunker Towers. If these lasers lock onto you, a ‘Threat Detection’ debuff will appear on the left of the screen. It’s basically a countdown that starts from 15 seconds — if it reaches 0, you’ll die. To refresh your timer, you must break the line-of-sight for a few seconds.
Aside from this, you’ll also need to destroy Cryptoliths by eliminating the Cryptolith Hosts in the area. After eliminating a Crypolith Host, you’ll need to kill a Deathtongue Chorister who will rush toward the Annihilator Totem. If it reaches the Annihilator Totem, it will buff all the combatants in the area and disable your abilities. After destroying 2 Cryptoliths, you’ll be able to enter a bunker.
Phase 2 — Hacking the Console
In the 2nd phase, you’ll need to fight your way through a few Scorn until you’re tasked to defend the Ghost whil it hacks a console. There is not much to do here — just slay the adds, deal with a couple of Unstoppable Champions, and prioritize 2 Disruptors as they can halt Ghost’s progress. After the hack is completed, push through the door to the next encounter.
Phase 3 — Destroying Hive Seals
In this phase, you’ll need to open a large door. To do that, you must break 5 seals on the door. These seals can only be destroyed with PDT Refraction Cores that can be found on platforms on the farther sides of the room. These PDT Refraction Cores are defended by some Scorn. After destroying all 5 seals, you’ll be able to travel the final boss.
Phase 4 — Final Boss
In the last phase, you’ll need to deal with a Scorn boss. It’s a pretty straightforward boss. Place a Well of Radiance, shoot the boss until it reaches 50% HP at which point it becomes immune. To remove the immunity shield, you’ll need to defeat Arc-Charged Scorn in the area. These enemies will drop an Arc Charge that you must deposit into the relay in the center. Once deposited, the boss will become vulnerable again. Shoot until dead. Pretty simple!
