One of the things added to Destiny 2 with the release of Season of the Seraph is an exotic catalyst for Cloudstrike. Cloudstrike is an Arc Sniper Rifle that creates a Lightning Storm after landing multiple precision hits. While it is pretty decent in PvP, it felt like it needed some help in PvE, primarily due to its ammo economy. The catalyst, however, aims to fix that. In this Destiny 2: Season of the Seraph guide, we have detailed all there is to learn about getting the Cloudstrike’s catalyst.

You can acquire it by completing different Playlist Activities i.e., Strikes, Crucible, Gambit. There is no need to put in extra effort to do NFs, Competitive PvP, etc. as these high-end activities do not have an increased drop chance.

Once acquired, you’ll need to defeat 400 combatants to complete it. You can launch into Shuro Chi, Golgorth, the entrance of Grasp of Avarice, etc. to complete it in 10-15 minutes.

After completing it, Cloudstrike’s catalyst grants it Triple Tap and +25 to the Handling stat. On top of that, it also received a bugfix that lets the Lightning Storm activate correctly when hitting the Divinity cage. All these things make it a very viable option in endgame PvE content.

This is how you can get Cloudstrike’s catalyst in Destiny 2: Season of the Seraph. You can see our detailed Destiny 2 wiki page for more tips and strategies.
